Jasper-Yellowhead Museum Artefacts and Collections

Initially, in 1978, the JasperYellowhead Society began working towards establishing a museum. Subsequently, in 1985, they decided to purchase a partially constructed building on Pyramid Lake Road. Afterward, in 1990, the lower floor of the structure was finally completed and the society‘s office and archives moved in. At present, the archives holdings include historic books, periodicals, manuscripts and personal and business documents. The photographic holdings include thousands of items in the form of negatives, prints, albums, and transparencies.
