Help support the Jasper Historical Society. Through its Museum and Archives safeguards Jasper’s human and cultural history for current and future generations, but we need you help to preserve a proud, collective memory of our past.
We rely on support from people like you to advance research, to acquire and preserve artifacts, to develop on-site and rotating exhibits, and to create educational resources – all of which help make connections to the personal stories and critical moments that have shaped this community.
Your support of the Jasper Museum Historical Society can take many forms — make a single gift or donation to the Museum, become a Society member, donate in honour of a loved one, or pitch in as a volunteer.
When you become a Member of the Jasper–Yellowed Historical Society, you also become part of our Museum family. Membership with us brings you a full year of unlimited access to outstanding exhibits, exclusive previews, money–saving discounts, and more!
Individual and Corporate Memberships are available for purchase by contacting the museum.
When you make a donation of any amount, you are making it clear that you believe Jasper’s history matters. We should be able to see the faces, hear the voices, read the words, and touch the objects of those who shaped our community. That archaeological sites and the material culture of Indigenous peoples and early explorers need to be safeguarded. That artifacts must be preserved, research advanced, and our history shared through our exhibits.

The mission of the Jasper-Yellowhead Historical Society is to provide the public with a better understanding of its collective heritage, history and diversity of cultures. Our Society can provide you with an interesting, worthwhile and gratifying opportunity. If you enjoy working with people and are looking to undertake a new activity, to either share your knowledge, expertise and experience or to be a witness to history, join our team by calling or emailing us (or stopping by!) and seize the opportunity to become a volunteer for the Jasper-Yellowhead Historical Society.

Open Thursday – Sunday : 10 am – 5 pm
We respectfully acknowledge that Jasper National Park is located in Treaty 6 and 8 as well as the traditional lands of the Anishinabe, Aseniwuche Winewak, Dene-zaa, Nêhiyawak, Secwépemc, Stoney Nakoda, Mountain Métis and Métis.
